We will have a service to bless animals outdoors in the churchyard on Sunday, October 5 at 5:00pm in observance of the Feast of St Francis of Assisi. Please bring your beloved animals of any species (including photos of animals that might be too anxious to come to the service) to a short liturgy where we give God thanks for all of our beloved animals, including those who have died, and where Fr. Dave will bless each animal that’s present (or a photo). Children are especially encouraged to bring their stuffed animals for a blessing.
Â
All species are welcome for the blessing. Dogs and cats must be leashed or crated, fish must be in a bowl, larger animals must have an appropriate halter/lead, and other animals must be appropriately controlled or contained.
 Â
This is an outdoor event. In the event of inclement weather, cancellation of the event will be announced on Trinity Church Baraboo’s Facebook page. The rain date for the event is Sunday, October 12 at 5:00pm.
