Rector

Fr. Dave has served as Trinity Church’s Rector since 2017. Raised in rural north central Illinois, Fr. Dave was raised as a Methodist and a Pentecostal before finding the Episcopal Church during his time in seminary. Fr. Dave appreciates the flexibility, breadth and tradition of the Episcopal Church, and preaches messages that are focused on Jesus while interacting with peoples’ day-to-day concerns. Fr. Dave is a graduate of North Central University (Minneapolis, Minn.), Bethel Seminary - St. Paul, and has completed graduate courses at Nashotah House Theological Seminary. He has also served as the founding president of Pathway Home of South Central Wisconsin, Sauk County’s only homeless shelter, since 2018. Fr. Dave is married to Elizabeth, an attorney and middle-school teacher, and they reside in Baraboo with their three children.
