Children
We welcome children to be themselves at church!
During our church services, children:
-
often make noise, sometimes loudly
-
wander around the sanctuary, sometimes with their parents
-
often sit in the front couple of rows so that they can see
-
participate as choir members, readers, ushers and servers
Our clergy invite the children forward during each Sunday service for a Children’s Sermon preceding the regular sermon.
Sunday School for ages 4 through 5th grade is offered from 10:30-11:30 am during the school year!
Children are welcome to participate in the service as choir members, readers, ushers, servers. In the Episcopal Church, all baptized children are welcome to receive Holy Communion. Sometimes parents opt to have their child receive a blessing instead while they are very young.
